My paintings are decidedly different from the mainstream. Open up any art magazine and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

I paint what I feel is the truth about nature. Look closely at my trees and foliage. They have character and I show them in all phases of their lives, from saplings to snags. Reach inside my foliage and you may get stung by a bee or pricked by a thorn.

I have a profound love and respect for the mysteries of nature. I don’t take a camera into the field. I don’t click and paint. Every painting comes from my life-long experience filtered through my unique imagination and aesthetic.

I dream the landscape. My collectors understand that. They are passionate about my work. That’s what matters to me.
