| Contemporary American Landscape Painter Nicholas Oberling teaches oil painting classes, landscape painting classes, plein air painting classes, and still life painting classes on location in Glacier National Park, in Connecticut, and in his Montana art studio. Nicholas Oberling has been a frequent lecturer on plein air technique, and has conducted talks and demonstrations at the Madison Art Society of Madison, Connecticut; the Salmagundi Club of New York City; the Cornell University Club of New York City; the Bigfork Art and Cultural Center; The Victor D'Amico Institute of Art; The Art Center of Northern New Jersey, The Art League of Nassau County; the National Art League; the Independent Art Society; and others. He has been featured as an invitational "Quick Draw Artist" at the C. M. Russell Museum Auction of Original Western Art; the Montana Land Reliance Biennial Auction; the Garrison (New York) Art Center Fund Raising Auction; the Marcus Daly Mansion Benefit; and the Treasure State Art Show of Hamilton, Montana.
